On May 31, 2002 Steelscape, Inc. purchased the Material Science Corp.’s (MSC) Pinole Point Steel Inc. plant in Richmond, California. The plant once produced 255,000 metric tons of metal-coated steel and 155,000 metric tons of painted steel yearly, however in 2006, the plant relocated.

Do you have other photos of the Pinole Point Steel buildings?

I worked in this building in the early 80's and spent many hours riding that massive Alliance gantry hoist!
I'd love to see other photos of the place if you have them.
