Last October, I finally made my way to the Oneonta Gorge, a location I have been wanting to visit for some time. It was a a bit of a challenge to photograph, but very beautiful to see.
Photo: "Pre-Eclipse Night Wars"
Last September, on the night of the solar eclipse, I was shooting down in a SoCal desert junkyard with some friends.
The clouds covered the moon right as the eclipse was happening, so I turned the camera towards the very dark Western sky and took this image while using a Streamlight Stinger flashlight.

Photo: "Trona Pinnacles"
These rock formations are massive, strange and beautiful. Being out here beneath the full moon was a great time. I ventured out here with some friends around midnight after shooting a junkyard in the Southern California desert.
Photo: "Long Gone"
This is all that remains,
but the memories still linger.
When I close my eyes,
I can still taste the sweet drops of passion on my lips.
Photo: "Boom Lake"
That one summer when I spent 5 glorious days in the mountains of Canada exploring the beauty of Banff and Jasper National Park.
The hike to Boom Lake took a few hours, but it was very worth it.
Photo: "Security Measures"
The sky opened and the clouds lit up right as we pulled in to this Southern California desert junkyard. I'm not sure if I have ever sprinted so quickly through sand.

A Titan II ICBM missile on display at the Titan II ICBM Site 571-7 in Arizona.
The Titan II ICBM missile was double the payload of a Titan I ICBM and was designed to hit a target over 9,000 miles away. The Titan II was in use for 39 years and fired from Vandenberg Air Force Base up until 2003.
Photo: "The Land of Dr. Seuss"
Back in November, one of my favorite photography partner's in crime, Quenton, ventured with me to Joshua Tree National Park for a quick trip.
At the end of our trip, before we were heading into Los Angeles to pick up another friend for part two of the adventure, the storm clouds began to roll in and the sky lit up. We dodged the rain clouds overhead and got a few shots in before the rain began to soak us. It continued for the entire two hour ride to LA.
I think it's about time to plan another trip here...
Photo: "The Driver"
Another image from my trip to the Southern California desert last fall.
I need to make time for more adventures like this in 2016.
Photo: "Me and the Moon"
Joshua Tree National Park. Full moon. 4 minutes.
I want to taste the salt of ocean's kiss
tangled in an embrace.
I want to dance with giants
that lean into infinity
and whisper secrets beneath the stars...

Photo: "Emerald Falls"
It's raining today and I'm trapped inside with the flu. This image is a nice memory of a good times with friends on a recent trip to the beautifully wet Emerald Falls in the Columbia River Gorge.
